Background of the Study
Trade fairs play a crucial role in facilitating business networking and promoting the visibility of small businesses. In Benue State, trade fairs provide entrepreneurs with an opportunity to showcase their products, connect with potential customers, partners, and suppliers, and learn from industry experts. These events serve as platforms for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration, which are essential for the growth and sustainability of small businesses (Ibrahim & Okafor, 2023).

However, despite the potential benefits, many small business owners in Benue State may not fully leverage trade fairs due to factors such as limited awareness, high participation costs, or insufficient support from local organizations.
